Paediatric Private Ambulance From Sir Gangaram Hospital to Hissar
Published on: March 22, 2026

A very small baby required safe and continuous care during inter-city road transport
from Delhi to Haryana, coordinated by Lifesavers.
Clinical Details
The infant was receiving care at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, and was advised transfer
to Hissar for continued medical support closer to home.
Transport Summary
The baby was shifted from Sir Gangaram Hospital to Hissar using a Lifesavers private ICU
ambulance. Due to the infant’s small size, safe placement on a stretcher was not feasible.
During transportation, the baby was carried securely in the mother’s lap with oxygen support,
while continuous monitoring was maintained to ensure stability throughout the journey. The
transfer was managed as an emergency medical ambulance service.
Outcome
The transfer was completed safely, and the baby was handed over at the destination for
continued care without complications during transit.
Closing Note
This case highlights the importance of careful planning and experienced handling during
paediatric ambulance services, especially when transporting newborns and infants over long
distances by road.
