during the TVS Bike Race held recently in Delhi ensuring immediate medical assistance
throughout the event.
On-Ground Medical Readiness
Motorbike racing involves high speed movement and physical exertion which increases the risk
of injuries dehydration and sudden medical emergencies. To address this Lifesavers deployed a
fully equipped BLS ambulance at the race venue along with trained emergency medical
technicians.
The ambulance remained strategically positioned for quick access to the race track and
spectator areas allowing rapid response in case of any incident.
During the event the medical team was prepared to handle:
- Minor injuries and abrasions
- Heat exhaustion and dehydration
- Sudden dizziness or fatigue
- Initial trauma care in case of falls or collisions
First aid and basic life support were provided on site to stabilize patients before deciding
whether hospital transfer was required.
Safe Transfer When Required
If any participant or attendee required further medical evaluation the patient could be
immediately shifted from the event location to the nearest hospital in the same ambulance
ensuring no delay in care.

Providing ambulance back-up at large public and sports events is a critical responsibility. With

Services ensured that medical support was available at every moment of the TVS Bike Race.
