Neonatal Transfer | 26-Week Preterm Twins on Ventilator Support

We recently facilitated a challenging neonatal transport involving twin preterm babies, each just 1 day old, with a very low birth weight of 700 grams. Born at only 26 weeks gestation, both neonates were on ventilator support and receiving continuous intravenous dextrose and fluids.

These extremely fragile newborns were safely transferred from Nulife Hospital, GTB Nagar (New Delhi) to the NICU at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi under continuous monitoring and expert neonatal care.

Such high-risk transfers require:

  • Specialized neonatal transport equipment
  • Trained medical personnel
  • Real-time ventilator & fluid management
  • Rapid coordination between facilities

We are grateful for the dedicated efforts of the medical team, transport specialists, and supporting hospitals that made this critical transfer possible.

Every gram and every minute matters in neonatal care. Ensuring timely, safe transport by NICU Ambulance can truly be the difference between life and loss.
