Heartfelt Journey: Honoring a Patient’s Final Wish

Published on: October 2025

A Journey of Compassion & Dignity

We recently had the honor of assisting an 89-year-old patient battling Carcinoma Prostate, who wished to return to his hometown of Veraval—to reconnect with his roots and spend his final days embracing his passion for farming.

With minimal fentanyl requirements and occasional oxygen support, his spirit and determination truly stood out, reminding us that courage isn’t defined by age or illness.

Our dedicated medical transport team meticulously arranged a safe Rail Ambulance transfer from Bombay to Veraval, ensuring comfort, dignity, and continuous support throughout the journey.

This journey reminds us that healing isn’t always about treatment—it’s also about honoring emotions, respecting wishes, and helping patients find peace in the moments that matter most.

What does resilience and patient-centered care mean to you? How can we better support the wishes of those we serve? Share your thoughts and let’s encourage compassion across all levels of healthcare.
